Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Rounded Miami wine glass begins with the bowl, blown into a mould to create a soft curved profile and consistency across the set.
Small gathers of molten glass are coloured and applied as liquid accents before being shaped by hand while still hot, forming the stems. A blown foot is then added beneath for balance and stability.
Each glass is made through a team process of three glassmakers, working together at the furnace and bench to produce small-batch handblown glassware.
After annealing overnight, the rims are hot-popped, then cold-worked and polished by hand to refine the final finish.
The result is a durable, colour-saturated set of wine glasses designed for everyday use and made through traditional furnace glassblowing techniques in our London studio.
