Welcome to Gather's Hot Shop!

At Gather, we run glassblowing courses from our fully equipped, professional glass studio, one of the few remaining in London. Whether you’re curious to try a short, hands-on session like blowing your own bauble, or ready to explore the craft in depth with a full-day workshop, our expert team will guide you throughout. Join us in Woolwich for a welcoming, creative experience and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece you’ve made yourself.

  • "A fantastic workshop. We had lots of fun learning some of the basics of glass blowing. We were well guided and supported through the process, everyone was really nice and friendly and we loved making some very crooked tumblers. Highly recommend as a gift." - (Olivia, 2025)

  • "I followed an introduction course in glassblowing at Gather. I can really recommend the course, it was a great experience. Our teacher Phoebe was amazing. She showed us all the techniques and tools and was very attentive and knowledgeable. I will come again with my partner for a second session!" - (Klaas, 2025)

  • "The best day!!! We did the bauble glassblowing experience and it was honestly wonderful, so fun to get up close to the glass blowing and get involved. Would 100% recommend to anyone!" - (Beatrice, 2024)
