Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, our Tall Miami Jugs are among the most complex forms we make, each one shaped entirely by hand.
The pieces are free-blown and measured throughout with callipers for accuracy. The bubble is dropped long, then pinched in at the neck and refined with hand tools to create the final profile.
The base is flattened before the piece is transferred to the punty, where the mouth is opened hot and finished with a small lip wrap for a clean, durable rim.
The spout is pulled while hot, and the handle is applied, joined, and looped by hand with a subtle flare to balance the form in use.
The result is a durable handblown glass jug with clear structure, crisp joins, and a quiet sense of movement - craft you can feel.
