Gather at London Design Festival 2025
We were thrilled to be part of The Objects We Live By, an intimate and immersive exhibition curated by ceramicist Emma Louise Payne, taking place at Seventy-Six - an atmospheric townhouse atelier just steps from Hyde Park in London.
For London Design Festival 2025, Gather presented an exclusive new hand blown glass lighting design, developed in collaboration with Emma Louise Payne, alongside a selection of our signature hand blown glassware - tableware and decorative pieces made in Gather's working production studio in Woolwich, South East London.
The exhibition brought together a carefully chosen group of makers whose practices are rooted in material and process.
For Gather, that means furnace glassblowing: a working studio where molten glass is on the irons daily, and every piece of hand blown glassware is made by hand by a team of experienced glassmakers.
Showing at London Design Festival felt like a natural extension of that - taking work made in a production studio in London and putting it in front of an audience who care about craft, material, and how things are made.
The Objects We Live By ran from 13thβ21st September 2025 at Seventy-Six, London.
