Gather Lighting

Gather has been developing lighting since our earliest collaborations - pendants, chandeliers, and sculptural pieces made alongside designers and brands, using the same furnace techniques we bring to every glass object we make. This Autumn, that experience comes together in Gather's first standalone lighting collection.

Bespoke & Trade Lighting

Beyond our own collections, Gather takes on lighting projects built entirely around a brief - working from a sketch, a room scheme, or a technical spec through to finished, handblown pieces. Pendants, chandeliers, one-off fittings: each one developed and made at the furnace in Woolwich. Past work includes light fittings for Native at Browns, Mayfair, one of our earliest lighting projects, alongside shades for Studio Brocky and a lighting installation at Harrods. We also work on an ongoing basis with a number of design and hospitality brands developing lighting for their spaces. If there's a project in mind, get in touch and we'll start scoping it.

Gather × Emma Louise Payne: MELD

MELD is a collaborative lighting collection developed with ceramicist Emma Louise Payne, launched at London Craft Week 2024 - sculptural glazed stoneware forms meeting handblown glass, in earthy, muted tones that let the material contrast lead. Table lamps and floor lamps, each glass component handblown at Gather's Woolwich studio.

London Design Festival 2025

In 2025, the collaboration with Emma Louise Payne continued at London Design Festival, where Gather showed a new handblown lighting design alongside a selection of tableware and decorative glass, as part of The Objects We Live By at Seventy-Six - a townhouse atelier near Hyde Park, running 13th–21st September 2025.

Coming Soon: Table Lamps

Gather's first lighting collection launches this Autumn - table lamps with interchangeable glass bases and shades, built to be reconfigured in colour and finish. Each base and shade is handblown in the Woolwich studio, so bases and shades can be mixed to suit a room, a scheme, or a wider collection. A new set of Gather colours, built for lighting.
