Handmade Glassware - Designed and Made in London

Gather produces handblown glassware from its working furnace studio in Woolwich, London.

Every piece is designed by founder Phoebe Stubbs and made by hand in the hot shop - from wine glasses and tumblers to jugs, coupes, vases, and serveware.

The collection is structured around named series - the Miami, New York, Verona, Sicily, and Chania Collections - each defined by its own colour palette and form language.

Colour is integral to the making process: each piece is formed using coloured glass, so the colour sits within the material itself rather than being applied to the surface.

All glassware is produced in small batches within the studio, shaped through heat, timing, and repetition at the furnace. This production-led approach ensures consistency across forms while retaining the individuality of handblown glass.

Gather’s Sicily vase in green was named Best Glassware in the Livingetc Style Awards 2025. The studio has also been featured in Make London by Hoxton Mini Press, on the BBC World Service, and is listed on the Homo Faber Guide - the global platform celebrating contemporary craft.
