Gather x Nation of Artisans x Supper Crust
Earlier this summer, Gather opened the hotshop after hours for our first supper club - an evening with Nation of Artisans and Supper Crust that brought together glassblowing, fire, and a properly good dinner.
Nation of Artisans is a creative community championing independent makers and the craft economy - bringing together artists, designers and makers across disciplines. Supper Crust are a London-based supper club known for cooking with fire, technique and a sense of occasion.
The evening began with glassblowing demonstrations from the Gather team - guests watching molten glass move from the furnace to finished form in real time, in the same space where the collection is made every day.
Then dinner: a whole sea bass cooked with molten glass, served across a wide range of Gather glassware. The hotshop as dining room, the collection in use exactly as it was designed to be.
