Lighting Commission

Native at Browns with Red Deer

In 2020, Gather founder Phoebe Stubbs and ceramicist Emma Louise Payne were commissioned by design studio Red Deer to contribute bespoke pieces for the interiors of Native at Browns, the acclaimed restaurant in Mayfair.

Handmade in London

Working closely with the design team, Phoebe developed a series of handblown glass lighting pieces with soft milky and smoky finishes, designed to complement the natural materials and muted palette of the restaurant.

Each light was handmade in Gather's working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, South East London. Developed through a series of samples and conversations, the final pieces were carefully refined to sit naturally within the space, bringing warmth and a subtle glow to the interiors.

Work With Us

The project reflects Gather's wider approach to bespoke glass commissions: collaborating with designers, architects, restaurants, and brands to create contemporary handblown glass lighting, tableware, and interior objects. As a working production glassblowing studio in London, we manage projects from initial development and prototyping through to production and delivery.

Whether you're developing a hospitality interior, launching a product, or exploring a bespoke glass commission, we'd love to hear from you.
