Each handblown jug is made in our London hot glass studio, combining vintage New York character with a playful, graphic finish. Designed for serving water, cocktails, or sharing drinks at the table, it’s a sculptural piece made for gathering.

Available in milky white or rich whisky tones.

Manhattan Dotted Jug - How it’s made

Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Manhattan Dotted Jug begins with a generous gather of molten glass on the blowing iron. While still hot, the glass is rolled through small black glass frits to create the distinctive dotted pattern before being shaped and blown into a mould for a clean, balanced profile.

Two full gathers from the furnace give the jug its weight and presence.

The piece is then transferred to the punty, where the mouth is opened hot and finished with a contrast lip wrap as the rim is formed.

A spout is pulled while hot, and a matching coloured handle in either white or whisky glass is applied by hand to balance the jug in use. Every jug is finished with our Gather stamp on the base - an everyday piece with restrained colour, playful pattern, and a clear durable structure.
