Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Miami Milk Jug begins with a small piece of opaque coloured glass to give the form depth and richness.
A single gather of clear molten glass is layered over the colour before the piece is blown into a mould to create a clean, consistent profile.
Once transferred to the punty, the mouth is opened hot and finished with a contrasting lip wrap. A transparent coloured handle is then applied by hand to balance the body and complete the form.
Each piece is shaped by skilled glassmakers working between furnace and bench within our live production studio.
The result is a compact handblown glass jug with soft opacity, bright colour accents, and everyday functionality at the table.
