Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Miami Pastel tumbler begins with a small amount of opaque coloured glass placed on the blowing iron.
Clear molten glass is gathered over the colour before the piece is blown into a mould, stretching the colour into a soft translucent finish that catches and diffuses the light.
Each tumbler is made by skilled glassmakers working between furnace and bench within our live production studio.
After annealing overnight, the glass is hot-popped and refined by hand in the cold shop to achieve an even rim, balanced weight, and consistent finish.
The result is a durable handblown tumbler with soft colour and an easy, everyday feel at the table.
