Rounded Miami Wine Glass - How it’s made

Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Rounded Miami wine glass begins with the bowl, blown into a mould to create its soft curved profile.

Small gathers of molten glass are coloured and applied as liquid accents before being shaped by hand while still hot, forming the stem. A blown foot is then added beneath for balance and stability.

Each piece is made through a team process of three glassmakers, working together at the furnace and bench within our live production studio.

After annealing overnight, the rim is hot-popped, then cold-worked and polished by hand to refine the final finish.

The result is a generous, colour-saturated wine glass designed for everyday use and made through traditional furnace glassblowing techniques.
