Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Large Miami wine glass is shaped from molten glass gathered directly from the furnace.
The larger bowls are blown into moulds for consistency of form across the set, while coloured molten glass is applied and sculpted by hand to create the signature Miami stems. A blown foot is added beneath each glass to balance the scale and weight of the form.
Each glass is made through a collaborative process involving three glassmakers, moving between furnace and bench several times while hot.
After annealing overnight, the rims are hot-popped, cold-worked, and polished by hand.
The result is a bold, handblown set of wine glasses with generous scale and durable finish, produced in small batches within our London glassblowing studio.
