Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Manhattan Dotted Tumbler is shaped from molten glass gathered directly from the furnace.
While still hot, the glass is rolled through small black glass frits to create the distinctive dotted pattern, before being blown into moulds for consistency across the pair.
Part of our New York collection, the form combines a clean, classic silhouette with playful surface pattern and the character of handblown glass.
Each tumbler is made through a collaborative production process involving skilled glassmakers working between furnace and bench to produce small-batch handblown glassware.
After annealing overnight, the rims are hot-popped, then refined and polished by hand in the cold shop.
The result is a durable pair of handblown tumblers designed for everyday use and relaxed entertaining.
