Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each South Beach wine glass begins with the bowl, blown into a mould to create a clean and balanced form.
Coloured molten glass is gathered and shaped by hand to create the distinctive stem, bringing contrast and movement to the piece while the glass remains hot at the bench. A blown foot is then added beneath for balance and stability.
Each wine glass is made through a team process of skilled glassmakers, working together between furnace and bench within our live production studio.
After annealing overnight, the rim is hot-popped, then cold-worked and polished by hand to refine the final finish.
The result is a durable handblown wine glass designed for everyday use, produced in small batches through traditional furnace glassblowing techniques.
