Miami Tall Footed Vase - How it’s made

Handblown in our working glassblowing studio in Woolwich, London, each Miami Tall Footed Vase is composed of three parts.

The body begins as a long form in opaque, saturated colour, dropped low using heat and gravity to establish the line and proportions of the vase.

A stem is applied hot and shaped by hand, then a blown foot is added for balance.

The piece is transferred to the punty and the top is opened into a gentle bell, ready for floral display.

The result is a durable handblown glass vase with bold colour, elegant structure, and a sculptural presence in the home.
